Demand-driven training

Demand-driven training is a new approach to learning. Traditionally, employers would select training topics, send their employees to training sessions, and then assume that employees returned to the workplace with the knowledge and skills that the employer wanted them to have. The demand-driven approach changes this process substantially. Employers are involved in selecting only some of the training topics their employees will learn. Then, after their employees understand what they want them to know, they choose who will receive the training and what matters.
